I came across this passage that Wright wrote in 1908 which was published in the Architectural Record, March, 1908: |

This project of Le Courbusier’s I had forgotten about until just last week - I had copied this from a book about LC in like 1995 . . . It gave me some confidence about the Gala Corina II that I had put together in November, and for the future, annual exhibitions that we intend to put on. The cause is on the grand scale, and it is possible to affect the mind of the public and of our community. We are on the right track with the Gala Corina and the Garcia Group / Award. This “Electronic Poem” by LC is inspiration, precedent, and proof that our cause is not in vain. |
