It's always nice to use the red truck . . . I like to see the joy in people's eyes when they see someone using an antique like it was meant to be used . . . & the conversations are always interesting and heart-felt.

The Quik tubes are for the mini-piles anchoring the base & foundation into the sand of the beach.
You can see the inside surface of the candle recess in the back of the center base is stained black and has ripples as it was lined with plastic sheeting to give it a smoother, water formed sense to it.
The bench is adhered to the concrete bases with Sika's Sikadur 31 hi-mod gel epoxy. The bond is stronger than the concrete.
Touching up any bits of epoxy that squeezed out of the joint with a grinder after it has set up (about 45 min & it was hard)
